Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. Growing up, she listened to a lot of classical music, as well traditional Boleros. They also played traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of opera, tangos and all forms of dramatic performance. Ana began learning to sing and play the piano in the early years alongside her mother. She was given more formal vocal training in the year she turned 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Music education was continued by the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and then to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a student and professional. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the south of California. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private performances as a soloist. She is passionate about music, art, as well as performing, keeps her active with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as and The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to have the opportunity give others a taste of her love for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes this can inspire younger generations to keep the music going.
